As you may already know Red Hill and most of the areas in the Upper Perkiomen Valley are in the quarantined area for the spotted lanternfly. It has only been in the last ten days or so that several residents have notified us that they have found these insects on their trees. RED HILL IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR TWO MEMBERS FOR THE BOARD OF APPEALS
The board meets on as as needed basis - Members may reside outside the borough
Interested parties shall be qualified by training and experience on matters pertaining to building construction. Training and experience may consist of licensure as an architect or engineer, experience in the construction industry, and training or experience as an inspector or plan reviewer. The purpose of this board is to hear and rule on appeals, requests for variances and requests for extensions of time.

Red Hill Borough is looking for several residents to fill volunteer board positions on the Board of Appeals, Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER
The Red Hill Planning Commission’s responsibility is to review all land development applications for compliance with the zoning ordinances and subdivision and land development ordinances. The planning commission acts as an advisory board and makes recommendations to Borough Council. Planning Commission meets on the Third Thursday of the month (as needed) at 7 pm at the Red Hill Borough Council Chambers.
BOARD OF APPEALS

The purpose of this board is to hear and rule on appeals, requests for variances and requests for extensions of time.
ZONING HEARING BOARD ALTERNATE
The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body comprised of three (3) members. The Zoning Hearing Board meets on an as needed basis. Board members are appointed by Borough Council and receive no compensation. The Zoning Hearing Board conducts legally binding hearings and renders decisions on appeals from a decision made by the zoning officer, challenges to the validity of the zoning ordinance or zoning map, and requests for variances and special exceptions.
